I mean, is it not also good to ask, “Do I really know what it means to be generous?” Much too often kasi, we think of generosity as an act of giving away something to someone.
Madalas akala natin, generosity is only about giving, but we miss the point of generosity. That’s true. Many of us miss the sacred truth about generosity.
Let me share with you, dear brothers and sisters, the two realities of generosity.
They are like two pathways that would lead us to a happy life.
Generosity I believe is firstly about receiving.
Second, and only then, can it be about giving.
Which is why, if we call ourselves generous because we are able to give, then we are being misled by our human pride.
